She graduated from Leeds University with a BA Hons in History. After a brief spell in HR with ICI she moved into the executive search industry with a boutique insurance headhunting company, Dixon Delves & Andrews where she led the research unit.  In 2000 she joined Korn Ferry International as a Senior Associate within the insurance team. Alison moved into the insurance industry itself in 2004 with Beazley PLC where she led its global recruitment strategy, establishing in-house search capability. At Beazley she assisted in both growing the existing business in London, as well as entering new product lines and geographies through attracting leading individuals in each market. She focuses on senior roles within the general insurance market across underwriting, claims, risk management and broking.
